As everyone knows and has most likely experienced, this past year was a rough year on so many levels.  And the current year has proven to be a rough start as well.  Wars, catastrophic events, terrorist activity, political turmoil and extreme economic difficulty continue to be experienced in the United States and around the world. 

Despite this, somehow, some way, the American spirit is still alive in most citizens.  Even during difficult times, the United States continues to raise unprecedented amounts of money and relief to help those in greater need than ourselves.   This resolve has been the backbone of our country for hundreds of years. 

Unfortunately it has taken its toll on local ministries as donation levels are down significantly.  We realize everyone is being pulled in a myriad of directions, but anything you can offer to help us continue our food, clothing and medical ministries will be so greatly appreciated.

Our Lake Orion Food Pantry growth is on the rise and the demand for food in our community is huge.  We are always accepting food donations.  They can be dropped off any Tuesday at Community of Christ Church located on 531 E. Unfortunately the building we distributed clothes from was shut down last year which forced us to shut down our clothing ministry.  For this reason, we are not currently accepting clothing donations.  Please pray that this ministry be blessed with a building so that we can resurrect this wonderful ministry.  If you know of any large buildings available at low or no cost for a non-profit organization, please contact Patty by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The mission of the Medical Ministry is to collect and distribute needed medical supplies to local missionaries who serve the United States and abroad to take care of those less fortunate then us.  If you are connected in any way to medical supplies that are no longer in need and could be used to help others or if you have a loved one who no longer needs their medical supplies or equipment, please consider donating to this ministry to see these items go to good use.
